the trip home isn't so bad...

John Keats - Ode to Psyche (part 1)

GODDESS! hear these tuneless numbers, wrung
By sweet enforcement and remembrance dear,
And pardon that thy secrets should be sung
Even into thine own soft-conchèd ear:
Surely I dream'd to-day, or did I see
The wingèd Psyche with awaken'd eyes?
I wander'd in a forest thoughtlessly,
And, on the sudden, fainting with surprise,
Saw two fair creatures, couchèd side by side
In deepest grass, beneath the whisp'ring roof
Of leaves and trembled blossoms, where there ran
A brooklet, scarce espied:
'Mid hush'd, cool-rooted flowers, fragrant-eyed,
Blue, silver-white, and budded Tyrian
They lay calm-breathing on the bedded grass;
Their arms embracèd, and their pinions too;
Their lips touch'd not, but had not bade adieu,
As if disjoinèd by soft-handed slumber,
And ready still past kisses to outnumber
At tender eye-dawn of aurorean love:
The wingèd boy I knew;
But who wast thou, O happy, happy dove?
His Psyche true!

messages from across the globe.

recently my best friend experienced heartbreak for the first time - i was in London a million miles away - sharing the load of a heavy heart through words was our only solace.

"Winter brushes my face and it stings,
 it reminds me of your bruised heart.
 the sun is shining where you are but you don't see it,
 keep your eyes open.
 i am that song that makes you forget for a second,
 i am that feeling on a saturday morning,
 i am the first sip of wine that warms the soul.
 winter has come so i can share your load
 i am your best friend. "

winter walks - London 2009

just before i left london i spent the afternoon at Hampstead Heath basking in the winter sunshine - an hour after these shots were taken we had an incredible snow storm, which ridiculously shut the entire city down.

A project i'm working on.. These guys will take you on a  wistful  journey of heartbreak, longing and lust fueled by gritty, dirty psychedelic southern rock ‘n roll. WHISKEY GO GO'S

first ever post! so this is country living?

i've been spending alot of time of late in the countryside,  apparently its a chance to escape "reality" and allow my imagination to run riot ( an everyday occurrence,. my feet haven't touched the ground in a long while) ...
